SERVICE UNIVERSITY 2015 EMEA

The 2015 edition of Service University was held in the last week of February. It was organized by the Ferretti Group After Sales & Service Department and dedicated to the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Dealer & Service Network.
Service University, by now a consolidated initiative from the Ferretti Group, is an essential tool for analyzing and developing topics of particular relevance to the Group's after-sales network, such as new developments in systems and instrumentation, as well as new models.
The courses were held in two different blocks. The first block of courses were given in Italian and lasted two days. The second block was given in English and held over three days. There were around 65 participants from service companies throughout Italy, as well as from various EU and non-EU countries. The topics covered included presentations of the new Pershing 70, Custom Line Navetta 28 and Ferretti Yachts 650 and the development of the main Biesse/Naviop, Videoworks, Top System and ZF navigation systems.
Joining the Service Director and the After Sales team speakers were the Brand Product Managers and some of the Group's main suppliers, with whom we have for some time nurtured a strengthened partnership to help improve quality standards.
The courses were held mainly at the Pershing shipyard in Mondolfo (PU), Italy. In addition to the theoretical component of the course, the participants were able to benefit from a guided tour of the production plant, given by specialized internal personnel, as well as tours of the new Pershing 70 and Custom Line Navetta 28 models. They were also able to visit the Forlì shipyard and take a tour of the new Ferretti Yachts 650 model.
The attendees participated enthusiastically in the topics presented and welcomed the opportunity to perform part of their training on board to test out and widen their knowledge, as well as strengthen friendships.
