The Ferretti Group believes strongly in training and geographic specialisation; for this reason, our traditional training activities for the worldwide service network have recently been joined by new types of training.
Indeed, in March, After Sales & Service Department set up a new training service for Ferretti Group of America technicians. This activity is performed alongside the Group's main suppliers and experienced technicians from the Italian authorised Service Network.
The aim is to improve the technicians' know-how and their ability to deal with any situation, above all through on-the-job training. The first phase, with sessions repeated every six weeks, will last a year and also includes specific training on particularly complex products in Italy.
After Sales & Service's attention to providing training based on the specific requirements of each geographic area also translated into special sessions in the Ancona shipyard at the end of April with five Chinese crew members on a Ferretti Custom Line 112’ Next yacht destined for the Chinese market.
A series of visits has also been drawn up for the Asia Pacific region over the next few months, providing for inspections and on-the-job training for staff of the local dealers, run directly on board the Group's yachts in the area.
